Win A Home is here to help, and using our intuitive online system it has never been easier to release the locked up capital in your property.

It is now possible to "raffle" your home, in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005. This means that members of the public can purchase raffle tickets for your home. The benefits are two-fold: you get to sell your house, and the winner of the raffle gets a home worth several thousands of pounds for a minimal fee.

Win A Home has been developed by Firepineapple Marketing as an innovative project to offer an alternative to paying large fees to Estate Agents. We will arrange everything for you - simply provide the required information to us and we will set up your listing to best show off your property. Sellers can view the number of tickets currently sold, and communicate with the ticket holders if necessary. It's all automated so you can sit back, relax, and wait for your property to sell itself!*

* We must see proof of ownership and photo identification prior to listing any property.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is an initial setup fee of £65.00, which ensures that your images and listing will attract the most potential ticket buyers, and covers the administrative overhead of checking identification and property deeds. This is a one-off cost and if you should choose to deactivate your listing at any time it can be reactivated free of charge.

Similar to an Estate Agent fee, there is a percentage listing fee relevant to the total ticket value for your property (i.e. the total value of prize draw tickets you wish to sell). This is a set fee for the lifetime of the listing, so whether your property sells out of tickets in one week or ten weeks, the price will always be the same. Our current listing fee is 0.42%. The table below shows some examples based on fictitious values.

The Listing Fee is deducted from the total ticket value when your property moves into prize draw phase; when all tickets have been reserved and paid for. If the prize draw fails to go ahead, for example if all tickets were not sold, then you will not be charged any listing fees - it really is risk free!

Win A Home will manage all transactions and the receipt of all ticket payments. All funds are held in a secure, dedicated bank account provided by Santander Group. Upon notification of the draw result, Win A Home will process payment, minus any listing fee, to a solicitor of your choice who will then handle the exchange of the property.

All prize draws must be held in a public place, and the drawer must be an independant person that has not entered into the draw and has no relation/affiliation with the seller. All tickets must be counted prior to depositing them into the drum, and also counted after the winning ticket has been removed from the drum. Any costs for the prize draw are the responsibility of the seller.

As you can see, our listing fees are dramatically lower than the equivalent Estate Agent fees, leaving you with more cash after the sale to invest in other property.
